Vision
The Family Vet is a small independent single doctor veterinary practice located within the Animal Wellness Center of OC in Costa Mesa, California. Small by design, the practice is exclusive to clients that have previously visited our practice within the previous 12 months - we do not accept new clients.* We aim to provide friendly, compassionate, professional services and veterinary guidance to a clientele who understands the advantages and limitations of our practice philosophy.
History
The Family Vet opened in Long Beach on July 25, 2003 with the goal of providing Personal Care for Pets. In short, Personal Care for Pets was the philosophy of providing clients and their pets with veterinary care that best fit their health and lifestyle. Developments within the industry eventually necessitated changes to our original model - in 2015 we stopped admitting new clients to our practice, in 2020 we shortened clinic hours, and in April 2021 we relocated the practice to our current location.
*The Family Vet operates independently of the Animal Wellness Center of OC. The Animal Wellness Center of OC welcomes new clients. For more information on the Center and their services, please visit their website.
